Adam O’Dell
Partner, Member of the Wills, Trusts & Estates, and Business Transactions Practice Areas
A South Carolina native, Adam grew up immersed in his family’s agriculture chemical company and family farm, learning hands-on what it means to run a business, manage people and produce a product. Life on the farm instilled in him the true meaning of a hard day’s work and family values, both of which would distinguish Adam in his educational and legal careers.
His ability to work hard proved invaluable for Adam, and allowed him to graduate magna cum laude in three years at The Citadel, where he honed his natural leadership instincts. During his time in law school, Adam served as a Platoon Leadership Course poolee for the United States Marine JAG Corps and on the boards of the Christian Legal Society and Phi Delta Phi honors society. He was also one of nine court justices on the school’s Honor court and left a legacy in establishing the school’s honor code.
His experience in the legal world began with clerking at the South Carolina Attorney General’s office, assisting with white collar crime and public corruption prosecution, as well as, post-conviction relief and criminal appeals work. Here at the Gordon Law Group, Adam leads our Wills, Trusts and Estates section and incorporates his hard work ethic and family values in everything he does. He continues to volunteer often with his church, serving needs in the greater Nashville community.
